Dear Steve,
We first met at the 1991 eclipse and have been friends ever since. You are one of the greatest astronomers I have ever met. You have combined research, popular writing, teaching, and the AAS to produce a fabulous career. I suspect you're not quite done yet! Best of luck and lots of love.
