Steve Maran's retirement

Hi Steve: Well, lots of water under the bridge, since you showed up at the Old Observatory, and we took Aller and Zanstra classes together. It was already clear
then that you had much to say, and I guess whatever it was took a long time
to get out, because most of us had already retired. I retired 2 years ago,
at the advanced age of 73.
I hope to see you in DC this winter. I'm still coming in to work every day, and trying to solve the secrets of the Ap stars.
