Grad School - getting in, research, advisors, groups, etc.
What do you want from graduate school?

So, what's your motivation? Do you want to be a professor/research scientist some day? Going because you're not sure what's next? Discuss why you decided to go to graduate school in astronomy.
Outreach

Outreach is a very satisfying way to get involved. I did a lot more in undergrad than in grad school - but we are fortunate that astronomy is a topic so many people find intrinsically interesting. So, reaching out to local schools or any sort of observatory public nights that your school does is I think often very rewarding.
Also, it's necessary. The bulk of astronomical research is funded by the american taxpayer; so reaching out and sharing our knowledge and understanding of the universe with the public is critical to seeing that their investment in astronomy is shared with non--scientists as well as amongst ourselves.
That said, remember that 2009 is the International Year of Astronomy in 2009; which should offer a whole range of activities to do outreach and let more people know about the science of astronomy.
